Privacy notice
Silverline Holdings Inc. runs firefightercancerclaims.com, and this notice covers it. Attorney Advertising: firefighters get connected here with law firms that pay for ads on the site. Nothing you send through the site creates an attorney-client relationship.
Which details do we collect?
- Whatever you enter in the lawyer-page form: your name, phone, email, state, diagnosis and note.
- Calls to the claims line: the number you call from, when you called, and a recording.
- Our server logs: your IP address, the browser you use, the page requested, and when.
Your own browser (local storage) holds your last state and cancer so the checker remembers them on your next visit. Your device keeps it and never sends it anywhere else. No cookies are set, and no outside trackers run on this site.
Your health data
A diagnosis counts as sensitive. We give it the care HIPAA requires, including in cases where HIPAA does not apply to us. We never use a diagnosis for advertising, and it never goes into a web address.
Who gets your information?
The law firm advertising here gets your form details and any call recordings, so it can review your claim. Under contract, hosting and phone companies process these for us. We do not sell any lists to marketers.
State law on sale and sharing
In some states, California among them, handing your details to a law firm that advertises may count as selling or sharing. The Do Not Sell or Share page lets you opt out.
How long is it kept?
Form details and recordings are kept until we've passed them on and handled any follow-up. After that, they're deleted. Server logs are kept no longer than the site needs to run and stay protected.
Rights you have
If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas or another state with a privacy law, you have privacy rights. You can ask what personal information we hold, have it corrected or deleted, stop its sale or sharing, and limit how we use sensitive information. If we say no, you're allowed to appeal by sending a reply to our answer. Someone acting as your authorized agent can make the request. How we treat you never changes because you used a right.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone who is under 16.
